The Surrounding Area

The cottages are in the grounds of our house, on the edge of an extensive birchwood which now forms part of the RSPB Insh Marshes Reserve and close to Loch Insh and its extensive watersport activities. Kincraig is an attractive Highland village, conveniently situated between Aviemore, 7 miles to the north and Kingussie, 6 miles to the south.
